For a gadet guy like me, the iPhone exemplifies the kinds of things I look for in a phone. But what if you’re a chef, lawyer, hermit or gamer? What kind of a phone do you look for? The chef gets the Motorola Cleaver, the lawyer gets a BlackBerry, the hermit gets no phone and the gamer gets this one.

Cellphones aimed specifically at gamers is an emerging market, and has been wide open ever since Sony decided not to release a PSP phone.

This guy even appears to fold up small enough not to be a pocket nuisance when games aren’t being played.

I don’t really know why I’m posting this video. It may be that I am simply intrigued by their 6-foot-8, 300 pound, bic-ed bald, tattooed mayor. It may also be that I really pull for communities where the average cost of a home is $9,000. Whatever the reason, I saw this guy on the Colbert Report and was captivated.

I know that lots of people have thought through what technologies would have to be employed in order for Star Trek’s Holodeck to exist. In my longing for the Holodeck to become reality, I was always dismayed by the fact that even if we could get holograms to look like real life, moving inside a confined space would be nearly impossible. But now Circulafloor has given me hope for a better future.

I watched this video with some friends over the weekend and I was impressed again, for the first time, by how funny it/Stephen Colbert is.
