If it was responding, then I’d be worried
Tuesday, September 25th, 2007This post is for all you windows users out there. I use a Windows machine at work, and I am often amazed by the nuances of the Windows operating system and its accompanying Microsoft applications. One thing that I have come to realize (and this has seriously improved the Windows user experience for me) is that, as I wait for my application to load, save, refresh, or any number of things, it is actually a good sign if Window registers that the application is Not Responding. Thus far in my experience, it is only when the application is responding that their is any danger that your system is frozen. While Not Responding typically means, just a second, I’ll be right with you.
