I touched an iPhone
I know that most people are sick of hearing about the iPhone. I admit that I am even a bit tired of it, but today I finally got to share in some of the iPhone-mania. I went up to the Apple Store in Salt Lake City to feast my hungry hands on the iPhone. And boy let me tell you, it is sweet. I’ve watch all the demo videos and unboxings and all of that other stuff, but this was way better. I was really impressed by the small size of the thing. Most videos don’t tell you much about the size because you have no idea how big or small the person is. The iPhone is a great size. It has a huge screen for a phone, but it’s extremely thin and would fit well in a pocket. My favorite part was turning the iPod section from landscape to portrait and watching the thing switch beautifully over to coverflow mode. Beautiful. The screen is awesome, typing on it wasn’t bad, and I thought the internet browsing experience went just fine despite only being EDGE and not 3G. Well, I don’t have the money for one, but I would love one nevertheless.
