What’s the premise?
Friday, January 12th, 2007Well, we have a premise. Here it is:
Four freshman college student males live in a house. Quinn, the owner of the house, is a stereotypical nerd. His parents have purchased the house for him to live in. Quinn has asked his best friend Deacon to be one of his roommates.
Deacon is nerdy, but not so much as Quinn. He is the type of person who had lady admirers in high school, but because of his own insecurity and lack of self confidence, never really knew.
Quinn’s parents, in an attempt to enhance his college experience, have “hired” two other roommates to live with Quinn. They tricked Quinn into thinking that not only are they paying rent, but they made him think that he was responsible for finding them. The two guys were hired to “show Quinn a good time” while in college.
Taylor and Kenny have been friends since high school. Taylor is an attractive, smart, and charming young fellow, while Kenny is simply a “party animal.” They are very popular with members of the opposite gender and know how to have a good time. Quinn, however, believing that he has full control over the house, has made some rules that conflict with their plot to show Quinn a good time.
Normally, any college student faced with such rules would promptly get out of this kind of housing situation, but with free rent and food, it’s too good of a deal to pass up.
Stay tuned for the first script.
